Liz has held senior executive roles across the Australian Public Service, including in Health and Education and recently led government relations for The Salvation Army Australia. She has also worked for three Federal Government Cabinet Ministers including two as Chief of Staff, providing complex policy and political advice.

She currently serves on the Advisory Board of the Parliamentary Workplace Support Service, providing strategic advice to support safe and respectful parliamentary workplaces.

Liz has extensive experience in strategy, governance, stakeholder engagement, organisational leadership, policy and a good understanding of the not-for-profit sector. Social policy and contributing to making a difference is her happy place. This started in her early career when helping long term unemployed people find work and Liz has been privileged to be able to work on many policies to help Australians live better lives.

As a long-term Canberran, Liz has seen the benefits Pegasus has provided including through personal experiences via friends’ children. She has a special interest in helping community organisations form good relationships with government and is keen to use her skills and experience to support the wonderful work of the staff and volunteers.

Liz holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts (Communication).
